Shea's beauty terms

So this morning I was brushing Shea's hair and I noticed she was in need of a haircut. I said to her "You need a haircut, the ends are dead."

Shea got all excited and said "I want dead hair!" "What?" I asked "What do you mean you want dead hair?". "I want dead hair, like the high school girls" she replied.

Now I was really confused. "I don't understand, Shea. What do you mean like the high school girls?" I asked.

"The high school girls on my bus." she said. "One of them has pink dead hair. I want want pink dead hair like her".

Suddenly I realized what she was talking about. "Oh... dyed hair you mean!" So funny how her little brain works.
